Update Directory Listings
Hey everybody - don’t forget to do the easy stuff like updating your directory listings. Sometimes we get caught up in the fancy expensive marketing stuff when we could do ourselves a favour with the quick, easy and free stuff. Update with your ‘keyword search phrases’ in front of you. Go ahead, do it now.
Finda is still a must do directory for every New Zealand business. If you only have a brief listing, go in a register for free and update it. The benefit: a big juicy inbound link. Yes. Besides, you get to spread the word about your business for free. Finda ranks very well for most NZ business searches.
If you have a Finda listing, freshen it up. Ask some happy customers if they would put their kind words on a review. Give them a link. Just recently I wrote about the importance of Indpendent Website reviews in helping viewers in their buying decision.
Don’t forget: use ALL your ‘keyword search phrases’ in your description of products and services. Use natural language, for sure, but cover all your phrases.
Just last week I came across an accommodation provider on the Mainland who hadn’t heard of Finda. After I gasped, I directed him to my article giving Finda’s benefits. He has one now and has a full listing which didn’t take him much time at all and now carries the benefit of a full blown juicy inbound link from a major NZ business directory. That’s good.
