TwitPic for Quick Photos
Twitter still amazes me with constant new applications. Sure works a dream for up to the minute photos sent to your network. Thanks to a friend on Twitter using TwitPic I can see the smoke around my sister’s house in California.
My friend is with her son visiting Southern California college campuses for next year. She snapped a photo with her cell phone and put it on TwitPic. Since I get her tweets I can see what the actual smokey skies look like over La Canada/Flintridge where my sister lives.
I saw this yesterday morning. I can verify the media reports since I often suspect them of hyping a situation into more than it is not. Here I see the hills above Pasadena in smoke.
If you can see value of instant photos sent to your network of clients, the twitpic application is available if you are registered on Twitter. Check it out.
