Read and Write a Knol
Surely there’s something here for you. Knol is a Google project being developed to help you share what you know. It’s full of units of knowledge that can fill your head…and time.
For example, you’ve been reading my words now for awhile on creating awesome sticky websites. When it comes to complex issues like SEO you might want to read how someone else explains it. Here’s a source for the same message on SEO. (Note the part about SEO companies can charge up to $100,000 per month…I’m in the wrong country!)
Share what you know. Write a Knol. My readers have product or service expertise and business nous.
What’s in it for me (you)? Visibility. If I’m doing my job to provide internet marketing advice I have to say visibility is what you as a small business website owner gets.
Visibility is one of the five features in the Knol overview.
They say “We value and promote authorship. Great content will be visible on popular search engines.”
I say: You get a nice big juicy link in to your website. Also, you get traffic from readers who value your knowledge and sharing. Inbound links help your ranking!
Write a knol. It’s on my To Do list.
