Business Website Advice

A website should create an instant look and feel that matches the business products, people and culture.  Fernz Eco Tours does just that.  The January 2008 Sticky Web Page of the Month recognises outstanding overall sticky Look and Feel.

Land on any page of Fernz Eco Tours and you get an accurate feel for where you are. Before you read a word of fine print, you see and feel a solid business offering of New Zealand eco tours, with liberal lashings of New Zealand bush, Maori heritage and Northland casual. Yeh. My applause to business owner Fern Jobbitt, based in Russell Bay of Islands. 

Web design company Venture Online created a look and feel that works.  How did they do it? Fundamentally excellent web design.

Fern’s website tells us she operates five eco tours for small groups who benefit from her years of local knowledge and Maori heritage interspersed with her wicked sense of humour. Her website succeeds in getting the message across.

I first saw this site nearly two years ago and haven’t forgotten the wow first impression. Just like I talked about in my previous article Good Web Design Leaves a Lasting Impression. Well done guys.  You inspire us all.
