That’s what we do. We get irritated frustrated and impatient when faced with screeds of long paragraphs, no headings, no bold, no lists.
Text is more difficult to read online.
Say we want to get away to the coast for the weekend and laze around looking at the view while we finish that thriller we just picked up. Oh, yes!
Shouldn’t be hard to find a place with a fireplace and a seaview. Our coastline is littered with boutique accommodation. And yes, Google delivers up lots of choices for my search ‘beachfront accommodation’.
I scan the photos, scan the headings, scan the bold and scan the bullet lists for seaview and fireplaces. I choose the place that had the easy to read website
Just like we vote with our feet when in a shop that doesn’t easily give us what we’re looking for, when we’re on text laden website that is too hard to read and find what we’re looking for, we vote with our mouse. We click off !
